Addy Herg is a partner in the Corporate, Commercial & Securities Practice Group of Wong & Partners. His portfolio focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and reorganisations, foreign direct investments and joint ventures. He is regarded as one of the few lawyers in Malaysia who can communicate and write in Chinese language fluently and professionally.

Addy has regularly represented multinationals and corporations in cross border transactions, joint ventures, investments and other aspects of corporate and commercial laws. He also regularly acts for insurers and reinsurers on corporate exercises, development of distribution channels and alliances, and regulatory compliance issues. He has a portfolio of corporate, compliance and regulatory advisory work for corporations across various industries such as financial services, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, and energy.

Addy is also an appointed legal advisor to the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, supporting the cooperation and development of trade and investments between Malaysia and China. He has also advised and represented Chinese corporations in outbound direct investments, joint ventures, projects and other corporate advisory matters.
