Elaine Foo is a partner in the Finance & Projects Practice Group at Wong & Partners. She focuses on banking and finance transactions, including conventional, Islamic, bilateral and syndicated financing, debt capital market transactions, project financing and other general banking matters.
Elaine represents financial institutions, governmental bodies and corporations in a wide range of corporate general banking transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans, both conventional and Islamic finance in Malaysia. She has also been involved in fund-raising transactions by way of issuance of conventional and Islamic debt capital market instruments such as commercial papers, medium terms notes, perpetual bonds and loan stocks, acquisition financing and project financing of several significant projects including solar energy, property development and infrastructure projects in Malaysia. Elaine also advises on the financial restructuring and rescheduling of major corporations in the country.
