Sonya Hsu is the head of the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group at Baker McKenzie’s Taipei office. She has extensive experience in the areas of litigation and arbitration, particularly in cross-border commercial disputes and consumer protection, as well as cartel investigation, restraint of competition, antitrust/competition litigation, and hotel-related agreements. Under Sonya’s leadership, Taiwan’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group has been ranked as both an Elite and Highly Recommended Law Firm by the Global Competition Review (GCR). It has also been consistently ranked as a Tier 1 Leading Law Firm in Taiwan by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific. Furthermore, Sonya has been named as a Thought Leader and Competition Lawyer in the 2024 edition of Who’s Who Legal. She has also been recognized as a Leading Individual by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for consecutive years.
