Position

Tony Haque is a senior associate with over 20 years’ experience advising in all areas of UK immigration and nationality work, and related European Union law.

He is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Global Labor Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group, where he advises on related corporate, tax and labor law issues, and leads the Firm’s Global Immigration & Mobility department in London.

Tony is an appointed member of the Law Society’s Immigration Law Committee which provides expert guidance to practitioners and seeks to influence the direction of policy.

Tony acts principally for multinational companies and other corporate clients, entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals offering creative solutions to effect international transfers as expediently and cost-effectively as possible. He also coordinates immigration work for a number of clients on a global and regional basis.

He advises on all aspects of immigration including business visitor visas, expatriate planning, end-to-end immigration services (including Tier 2 and other points based categories), sponsorship licenses, and applications based on EU law.

Tony also advises on the day-to-day management of sponsor license systems and on compliance requirements, indefinite Leave To Remain and British citizenship applications as well as appeals and judicial review work.
