Bei Baker McKenzie steht die Beratung zu regulatorischen, vertrags- und datenschutzrechtlichen Fragestellungen im Fokus, wobei zum Mandantenstamm des Teams neben Telekommunikationshäusern und Hardware-Entwicklern auch insbesondere Unternehmen aus Industrien mit Kommunikationselementen, wie etwa der Automobilsektor, zählen. Das Team ist fest in die globale Praxis der Kanzlei integriert und damit bestens aufgestellt, um auf nationaler wie internationaler Ebene zur Planung, Entwicklung und Umsetzung von neuen Geschäftsmodellen zu beraten und hat zudem im Berichtszeitraum eine Zunahme in Angelegenheiten mit Bezug zu Frequenzregulierung verzeichnet. Caroline Heinickel leitet die Gruppe und verfügt über besondere Expertise im Bereich des Informationsaustauschs zwischen vernetzten Geräten (M2M). Johannes Döveling (Regulatorik und Vertragsrecht) wechselte im Februar 2024 zu Bird & Bird LLP.

The team acts integrated into the firm’s global practice and regularly advises on the planning, development and implementation of new business models at national and cross-border level and most recently assisted with matters pertaining to frequency regulation. Caroline Heinickel heads the team and has expertise in machine-to-machine communication. Johannes Döveling (regulatory and contract law) moved to Bird & Bird LLP in February 2024.
