Position

Juan Carlos Guerra joined the Firm in 2007, and his practice and expertise is mainly focused in real estate, mining, agrarian, infrastructure and project finance transactions, including structuring and financing of real estate developments of industrial, commercial tourist and residential nature. Likewise, he offers advice and consulting on public tenders, trusts, construction, mining, foreign investment, financial and credit operations. Juan Carlos also continuously works and supports various Mexican and foreign technology companies (soft-tech, prop-tech, fin-tech and others) in their day-to-day operations in Mexico, including structuring and implementing funding and capitalization through public and private investors.

Juan Carlos is an expert translator from English to Spanish and vice versa, authorized by the Supreme Court for the State of Jalisco.

Career

Juan Carlos’ practice focuses on the real estate, infrastructure and project financing, legal audits, due diligence and title reports; Preparation of contracts and legal documents for structuring of sales, trusts, leases, donations, work contracts, incorporation of condominium regimes, matters related to agrarian regimes, and the structuring and financing of said projects. Juan Carlos advises clients in banking and financial negotiations, as well as in the preparation of contracts to structure credit operations, such as loan agreements, pledges and other guarantee contracts.
