Vern Cassin helps to solve complex problems for clients in high-value litigation, often involving claims of $1 billion. He has led or had a senior role in litigation on behalf of major U.S. and foreign companies, as well as foreign states litigating in U.S. courts. Mr. Cassin’s litigation experience covers a wide range of sectors, with particular focus on the media and energy sectors. His cases often involve working closely with subject matter experts on technical issues, including financial analysis, engineering, and construction.
Mr. Cassin has considerable experience counseling clients in disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, including shareholder class actions and securities fraud litigation. In addition to representing clients in court, Mr. Cassin frequently advises corporations on risk mitigation during corporate transactions that may face shareholder action.
Mr. Cassin is Vice President of the U.S. Court Tennis Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Court Tennis Preservation Foundation.
