Reggie is a Senior Counsel in Akin’s top-ranked lobbying and public policy practice, bringing nearly a decade of Capitol Hill experience, including serving as chief counsel to Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-NY). He advises clients on navigating the evolving policy landscape in Congress, the White House, and executive branch agencies, with expertise in federal policy and strategic advocacy on complex policy reforms. Reggie leverages deep relationships across Congress, the executive branch, and key stakeholder communities to help clients navigate complex policy landscapes and engage effectively with federal decision-makers. Currently, he co-leads Akin’s artificial intelligence (AI) policy initiatives, actively engaging with stakeholders in Congress and the Executive Branch on behalf of a broad range of clients and contributing to national discussions on AI regulation.
