Career

Andrew is an associate in our digital and sourcing team. He has experience advising both private sector and public sector clients across a range of industries on negotiating commercial, sourcing and technology contracts.

Andrew advises on a variety of commercial and technology projects, recent examples include new software roll out, re-procurement of a multimillion-pound telephony contract and on the break-up of a large-scale complex services contract. He regularly advises on large-scale sourcing agreements, SaaS, reseller terms, customer facing terms and key supply chain contracts.

Andrew is a member of the firm’s energy and infrastructure core target market group. He has written two LLM master’s theses and multiple online and journal articles focusing on legal, policy and regulatory issues facing the energy sector.

During his training, Andrew gained experience in various work streams that are applicable to his work in the digital and sourcing team and was seconded in-house at one of the biggest acute trusts in England.

With in-depth expertise in digital assets, IT transactions, as well as licensing and software development, Browne Jacobson LLP is jointly led by Anthony Nagle and Declan Cushley. Nagle is noted for his strength in IT procurement, outsourcing projects, and the acquisition of technology equipment. Thomas Gibby often drafts commercial contracts for technology service providers, while David Hill is knowledgeable of digital transformation contracts and Saas. Andrew Douglas is well-versed in sourcing agreements and key supply chain contracts. The practice secured a major boost in May 2024 with the hire of a five-strong tech and commercial team from EY Law including Rowan Armstrong and Alex Mason.
