Position
Fraser specialises in the creation of offshore wealth planning structures. He is qualified in BVI and the Cayman Islands. Prior to joining Bedell Cristin he worked for another offshore firm, based in the Cayman Islands, for five years. He advises trust companies, family offices, high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. He also works with onshore law firms and their clients in designing and operating wealth planning structures.
Fraser’s practice involves trusts (including STAR trusts and VISTA trusts), foundations, trust companies (including private trust companies), companies and other vehicles. He prepares complex and straightforward wills and he helps guide clients through the probate and administration of estates process in BVI and the Cayman Islands. He also advises on offshore regulations as they apply to international private clients, including anti-money laundering, beneficial ownership registers, CRS / FATCA and economic substance.
Before moving offshore Fraser was a solicitor and chartered tax advisor in the UK, advising high net worth individuals and families on tax and succession planning.
