Position
Mark is a Partner and heads the Commercial Property team advising clients on development, development finance, investment, property finance and landlord and tenant matters.
Mark’s clients include investment funds, banks, property companies and high net worth individuals. He handles acquisitions and disposals, large scale developments, secured lending and financing for both borrower and lender, property portfolio management, rights of light issues and planning agreements.
Recent experience includes:
– Acting for a pension fund on the acquisition of its property portfolio;
– Advising on the acquisition of a boutique London hotel
– Acting on the acquisition and disposal of a chain of UK restaurants
– Advising on various mixed use developments and dealing with rights of light and telecommunications issues
– Acquiring restaurant premises in Central London
– Advising a major bank on its security over a large redevelopment in London
Career
Trained at Nabarro qualifying in 1995 and then Associate and Senior Associate until 2003; Senior Associate at BLP until 2006; Partner at Mishcon de Reya 2007 until 2009; Partner at RadcliffesLeBrasseur from 2009.
