Shwaid is presently the Managing Partner of the firm’s Cebu office, Gulapa & Ismael, and a partner of the firm’s New York office, Gulapa & Baclay.
Shwaid is one of the 2019 Outstanding Filipinos in America (TOFA) awardees where he received TOFA’s Trailblazer Award. In just one year, Gulapa & Ismael under Shwaid’s leadership has been extensively involved in projects relating to reclamation and construction, transportation, water and wastewater, real estate and land titling, general corporate and dispute resolution.
