Maria is an associate in our Aviation Finance Group.

Position

I am an associate in the Paris Aviation Finance Team. I have extensive experience working with both lessors and airlines, as well as financial institutions on aviation finance and leasing transactions. I also cover a broad spectrum of general finance and corporate matters.

I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions including leasing, structured finance, JOLCOs, ECA and PDP financings, securitizations, as well as M&A and restructuring transactions. My work often involves cross-border transactions and I enjoy working in a multicultural environment. I am fluent in Russian, English and French.

I also like learning new things and had a chance to work on a number of innovative instruments as they evolved, including green financing, various insurance products (including Balthazar) and capital markets transactions.

I believe it is essential to listen to clients’ needs to be able to find commercially sensitive and cost-efficient solutions. I am also convinced that building trust and solid personal relationships is key. Our goal is to act as a one-stop shop for our Clients in aviation-related, corporate, finance and tax matters.
