Career
I am dedicated to helping clients thrive in the digital era and I strive to deliver innovative legal solutions that align with my client’s business objectives. I am the managing partner of our Singapore office and co-head Bird & Bird’s International Privacy and Data Protection Group.
I advise an international clientele drawn from a broad range of sectors on complex technology sourcing, fintech, telecommunications and data protection matters. Being based in Singapore, and working closely with other Bird & Bird offices, I have the privilege of supporting our clients across the Asia Pacific region on complex regulatory and legal issues, helping them build trust with their customers while navigating potential legal pitfalls.
As a recognised thought leader in the field, I am actively involved in public policy discussions on developments in data protection laws and new laws regulating content and emerging technologies in the Asia Pacific region. This has allowed me to better help our clients navigate these fast evolving legislative and regulatory developments in the region.
I have extensive experience in large-scale multijurisdictional projects relating to data protection compliance, product-rollouts, sourcing and outsourcing arrangements and services arrangements. I have particular expertise in advising organisations on the legal, regulatory and commercial issues in the digital space, as well as in fast developing areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, AdTech and FinTech.
