Career

Peter Burke has been practicing in the field of corporate and commercial law in Thailand since 1996. Peter began his career with Allen & Overy London. In 1996 he started work with JSM (now Mayer Brown and became a partner in JSM in 2007 and thereafter headed up JSM’s corporate and commercial practice in Thailand. In 2011 Peter together with a number of Thai colleagues founded Axis Legal.

Peter represents a number of international banks, multinational companies, privately held companies, private equity funds as well as individual business and charities. He has advised clients on a wide range of M&A transactions covering a diverse range of industries. He also advises on general commercial arrangements and has been recognized as a leader in the field of banking and finance.
