Tom has particular expertise in structuring and constitutional matters, and he has considerable experience of helping to deliver group reorganisations, mergers, transfers of services, and establishment of special purpose vehicles to deliver joint venturing arrangements. Tom has advised on housing stock transfers, public/private projects, public service externalisations and restructuring initiatives. He is an expert in registered society law and advised Co-operatives UK on the impact of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

Tom advises many of our clients on consumer credit matters, helping them to audit their activities to determine which may be subject to FCA regulation, and undertaking the application work when FCA authorisation is required. He also advises clients on matters of ongoing compliance once FCA authorisation is obtained. In 2017 Tom revised and updated the National Housing.
