Career

Jatin is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution  Team in the Mumbai office of DSK Legal. Jatin’s practice focuses on commercial arbitration and litigation.

Jatin has advised clients in matters pertaining to disputes arising out of corporate and commercial transactions including foreign direct investment, shareholders agreements and real estate transactions. Jatin has broad experience in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations and has represented clients for obtaining interim reliefs, appointment of arbitrators, representation before eminent tribunals, appeals and enforcement of awards. Jatin’s comprehensive solution offering to his clients also includes handling civil and constitutional litigations before various courts.

During his early years, Jatin advised large corporate houses on M&A, JVs and foreign investment before specialising in commercial arbitration and litigation.  Jatin’s underpinnings as a commercial lawyer are deeply appreciated by clients in large complex disputes particularly during formulation of pre-dispute strategy and litigation management.

Jatin’s clients include leading manufacturing companies, investment funds, event management companies and other corporate houses.

Jatin appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court and other high courts, National Company Law Tribunal, the Securities Appellate Tribunal and arbitral tribunals.

Jatin is a registered Solicitor with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society.
