Career

Aninda is a partner at the firm’s Mumbai office. He is a part of the Corporate Commercial, M&A and PE-VC practice group and his core areas of practice include mergers & acquisitions (in-bound and out-bound), private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, regulatory advisory and general corporate. He advises clients on all aspects of transactions – structuring from an Indian legal & regulatory perspective, strategizing transactions, due diligence (including anti-corruption), documentation, negotiation and closing. He advises a range of clients across industries on a diverse range of cross-border and domestic transactions be it, buy side or sell side. The kind of industries he has advised include manufacturing (across diverse sectors), FMCG, pharma, retail, infrastructure (including roads and ports), power/ energy (including renewable energy), health-care, hospitality, IT and e-commerce.

He also has extensive non-transactional experience and advices clients on corporate, securities & foreign exchange laws, setting up of new business, assisting in day-to-day business issues, raising funds and securing approvals from various authorities including RBI, SEBI, MIB, MHA.

Prior to joining DSK, he was a partner with HSA Advocates, before which he worked as a Counsel at Trilegal, Mumbai, as a senior member of the corporate practice group – where he led and was part of teams which won ‘deal of the year awards’.
