De La Fuente in the field of taxation include: 1) Representation of various multinational companies before the Court of Tax Appeals for tax credit and refund cases and cases for cancellation of tax assessment and advised various clients in tax audit process and tax compliance; 2) Representation of a publicly-listed Universal bank in the settlement of an assessment for deficiency internal revenue taxes in the amount of USD 100 million, reducing the total amount of liability to USD 760,000; 3) Representation of a publicly-listed Universal bank in the settlement of an assessment for deficiency internal revenue taxes in the amount of USD 14 million, reducing the total amount of liability to USD 925,000; and 4) Representation of a shipping company in the settlement of an assessment for deficiency internal revenue taxes in the amount of USD 18.5 million.
