Before joining the Construction & Infrastructure Team, Tilly carried out her training contract in the Commercial Property, Projects, Construction & Engineering and Restructuring & Insolvency departments.

Prior to joining Ashfords in 2016, she studied History at the University of Exeter and worked as an Assistant Development Engineer assisting in managing the installation of utilities on housing-development sites in the South of England.

• SPV: Assisting the team in an international arbitration dispute concerning the design and construction of a large anaerobic digester.
• Employer: Assisting the team in a professional negligence claim relating to the architectural design of a hotel development.
• National Bank: Assisting the team in conducting a due-diligence exercise covering a full suite of construction contracts to determine the adequacy of the Bank’s security prior to a re-financing.
• Local Council: Assisting the team in conducting a large-scale due-diligence exercise for a local council prior to its purchase of land and existing buildings.
