Mahmoud is a bilingual (Arabic and English) civil-qualified lawyer with over 15 years of experience in dispute resolution. His expertise encompasses shipping, insurance, civil and commercial litigation, particularly within the GCC region.

His client base includes leading ship owners, charterer, bunker suppliers, operators, P&I clubs, insurers and ship agents for whom he handles complex disputes arising from charterparties, vessel arrests, cargo and bunker claims, collisions, groundings, vessel repairs, ship abandonment and contractor liability issues.

Mahmoud has represented clients in numerous litigation cases before local Middle Eastern courts, particularly in the UAE. Furthermore, his expertise extends to successfully handling arbitrations throughout the region, with notable experience in Egypt and the UAE.
