Particularly noted for its expertise in the financial services industry, Slaughter and May
continues to build its dedicated private equity practice under the stewardship of Harry Bacon and Filippo de Falco, working with an ever-growing roster of sponsors on domestic and cross-border transactions. Both Bacon and de Falco advise widely on public and private M&A, reorganisations, governance matters, disposals, and IPOs. Robin Ogle works closely with market-leading infrastructure funds on a host of acquisitions and sales in the energy and infrastructure sectors, while Aleezeh Liaqat – who was promoted to partner in March 2024 – has latterly co-led on a number of the team’s most consequential transactions.
