Marisa is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney specialising in brand protection and enforcement. She has significant experience in the strategic management of trade mark and design portfolios working with clients in a range of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, technology and fashion.
Marisa advises on complex contentious matters including trade mark opposition and cancellation proceedings, infringement, IP contract disputes, bad faith and multi-jurisdictional issues. She appears regularly before the UK Intellectual Property Office and was ranked 10th in the league table of Trade Mark Attorney appearances before the UK IPO for the period 2016 – 2020.
She works to develop longstanding, trusted relationships with clients, delivering commercial advice and practical solutions in fast paced sectors.
