Career

Uly is an experienced and versatile litigator and joint headof ABNR’s award-winning Disputes & ADR Dept. Her work in contentious matters extends across all industry sectors and practice areas, with a particular emphasis on commercial, shipping, FDI, mining, cybersecurity / cybercrime, administrative law, corporate crime and environmental disputes. She also frequently represents clients in arbitration proceedings and other alternative dispute resolution forums.

In addition, she regularly assists clients with anti-corruption and compliance matters, including heading up anti-corruption and compliance audits and providing training on such issues.

As ABNR is a leading Indonesian law firm for project finance & development, Uly frequently advises clients in administrative disputes related to major infrastructure projects, such as power-plants.

She also regularly advises foreign clients on cybercrime issues.

In other matters, she is advising a petition website in relation to a police investigation into alleged hate speech contained in a petition on the site.

Uly, who holds an LL.M degree in mineral law & policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland, had extensive experience as in-house counsel with a number of private-sector companies prior to joining ABNR. She is recommended for Dispute Resolution by Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Chambers Asia Pacific.
