A strong twelve months has seen Allen & Gledhill (Vietnam) bolster its bench and consequentially its M&A offering through the hire of partner Tran Ngoc Hoang Phuong from Masan Group in June 2022, who has over 15 years of transactional experience in a number of Asian markets. The team is well-placed to act on corporate issues including joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and leverage buyouts, and have shown sector strength in energy, real estate, manufacturing and transport. Group head Oh Hsiu-Hau is an M&A specialist, especially when concerning emerging markets, while Tran Thi Phuong Thao has a broad practice that is complimented by his considerable regulatory understanding.
