Career

I help people who are going through a divorce or separation. Whether you’re married, living together or in a civil partnership, I will guide you through the legal process of separation, and I will do so with kindness, empathy and straightforward advice.

I can help you with:

  • divorce and separation;
  • financial claims, including maintenance, property and pension claims;
  • cases involving a family business;
  • cases involving a family trust or trusts;
  • property disputes between unmarried couples;
  • financial claims on behalf of children whose parents are unmarried;
  • maintenance claims by or on behalf of adult children;
  • children disputes, including child arrangement orders; and
  • collaborative law.

My approach is constructive and team-based, and I always put the needs of the children front and centre.

I like to work with my clients, their ex-partners and the other lawyers to try to agree fair solutions. This means that I am often able to help my clients reach agreement without having to go to court.

Where court is the only remaining option, my clients know that they will be fully supported throughout the process. They know what to expect at every stage, and are empowered to ask questions, to take control and to have clear advice as to the likely outcome.

My clients expect a good service, and they get it in spades. They also get warmth, humour and understanding – whatever their circumstances.
