Career
Linda is a specialist in intellectual property and technology laws with a wealth of experience and heads the regional IP practice. She has decades of experience in IP litigation and disputes (involving all IP rights – patents, copyright, designs, trademarks, trade secrets and confidential information) and has successfully argued cases at all levels of the courts in Malaysia including at the apex Federal Court. She has additionally acted as a mediator in IP disputes.
Linda also has in-depth know-how in managing and implementing anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting programs for clients from diverse industries, ranging from luxury goods, alcoholic drinks, food and beverage, pharmaceutical products to automobile parts.
She continues to actively prosecute cases of IP rights which are difficult to register and oversees IP portfolios from prosecution to grant on behalf of her clients.
Linda has consistently been named as a leading individual in the top Band 1 by Chambers Asia Pacific and top Gold Band by World Trademark Review for her work in intellectual property. She has also earned a place as an IP lawyer on Legal 500’s Hall of Fame.
