Safia is a lawyer registered with the Casablanca bar association, and leader in her field as a transactional lawyer focusing on debt financing and M&A deals including sales and joint-ventures, Private Equity Investments, Project Finance and Capital Markets.
Safia’s clients include international institutions, private equity funds and multinational corporations across multiple sectors. She advises boards of directors and investors on a wide range of issues, including business strategy, finance, M&A, board governance, intellectual property and litigation strategy.
Safia is a board member of ALN, chaired by Cheick Modibo Diarra, the former prime minister of Mali. She has served as a board member of Confédération Générale des Entreprises du Maroc (CGEM) of which she chaired the legal commission for several years. She is also the Sector Leader for Francophone Africa in Private Equity and Venture Capital.
