Position
Joel has been a Partner at Mishcon de Reya since joining in 2006 from another leading law firm. He advises and acts for entrepreneurs and company owners from a wide variety of business sectors, with a large part of his practice having an international aspect.
Joel can turn his hand to many legal disciplines. This is highlighted by his practice, which includes non-contentious and contentious corporate and commercial matters such as mergers and acquisitions, domestic and cross-border joint ventures, private equity transactional work, corporate finance real estate transactions, global tax planning, corporate and commercial related litigation and international arbitration.
Joel has considerable experience in the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams within the firm and involving external firms in multiple jurisdictions. He has a wide network of professional and business relationships, in particular in Europe, Russia, CIS countries, USA and Israel.
Joel is notable for his lateral thinking, and the commercial and pragmatic solutions he offers clients as a result. He is a tough negotiator who always fights relentlessly for his clients.
