Sue Scott is a senior solicitor and has many years of experience in all aspects of family law including: Divorce, Change of name, Separation agreements, Pre-nuptial agreements, Financial relief, Contact/residence disputes, Domestic abuse – Injunctions and occupation orders, Child Abduction  and leave to remove from jurisdiction and  has extensive experience in matters with an international element, including cases in the Royal Courts of Justice. Sue has one reported case AB v AB [2015] EWHC 2422

Sue’s case load consists of a mixture of mainly private and some publicly funded work

Sue studied Law and the Legal Practice Course at West London University. She was admitted in January 2004 and joined Barrett and Thomson Solicitors in December 2009.

Sue is a Resolution member. She is a Resolution accredited member in Private Child Law & Domestic Abuse. She is also a long-standing committee member and was treasurer of the Berks and Bucks Resolution group for 6 years until she was appointed chair in November 2017. She is regularly involved in training sessions for a local charity for victims of domestic abuse for the workers & also their clients undertaking the Freedom Program.

Contributed an article jointly with Claire Fitzgerald to the publication 101 Questions Answered About Separating With Children.
