Career

With a background that clearly demonstrates his deep passion for law and the Middle East, Heinrich was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, and graduated in Legal Studies from Passau and Mainz. It was then that he decided to delve into his love of everything Middle Eastern by taking a post graduate Magister Artium (M.A.) course in Islamic and Political Studies in Tübingen and Tunis, where he also attained fluency in Arabic.

During his legal apprenticeship (Referendariat) in Hamburg, where he is a member of the Bar Association, Heinrich amassed a great deal of international legal experience, gaining insight into banking and finance law, European legislation, and IP and competition law with various international law firms, a German state government, and the courts.

Heinrich has proudly called the city of Dubai, UAE, home since 2016, and has been a valuable member of SCHLÜTER GRAF’s Dubai team since 2019, where he advises on FDI and corporate matters, agency, distribution, public procurement tenders, as well as localization programs especially in multijurisdictional matters in the GCC and the MENA Region.
