Position

Ashley joined Tyr as a Partner in September 2021 to establish the Business Restructuring team.  Ashley specialises in director advisory, transactional and property finance matters acting for both bridging lenders and borrowers.

Ashley’s recent experience has involved advising several lenders securitising new facilities to borrowers; advising directors of various companies in financial difficulty in connection with directors’ duties; advising a lender on their enforcement options against directors suspected of distributing funds outside of the security provided; advising a lender on the appointment of receivers over a significant portfolio of commercial properties; and advising directors of their rights following the failure of customers to pay for services provided.

Ashley acts for insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, companies, directors, property agents and turnaround professionals from across the country on all aspects of corporate recovery and restructuring work.

Career

Ashley joined Tyr in September 2021.  Ashley trained and qualified at Hammonds before spending 16 years at Cobbetts LLP and DWF LLP.
