Position

Marcus is a Partner in Tyr’s Commercial Property team. Marcus is particularly experienced in commercial and residential development work, acquisitions and disposals and property finance matters. Marcus’ recent experience includes acting on strategic land acquisitions for top 10 national housebuilders on sites throughout the UK, portfolio management work and property finance deals for both banks and borrowers. Marcus also has extensive experience of all aspects of landlord and tenant work including portfolio management for a number of large corporate occupiers. Marcus is pragmatic and commercial and enables his clients to achieve their desired outcomes quickly and effectively.

Career

Marcus qualified in 2015 having trained Metis Law, Leeds. Marcus then worked at DAC Beachcroft LLP and Clarion before joining Tyr in February 2020 and promoted to Partner in April 2023.
