Position

Lyn leads the Environment and Regulatory practice area at Tyr. She undertakes a wide spectrum of environmental work, including providing support on corporate and property transactions; standalone advice to clients on environmental issues; and litigation for regulatory breaches (acting for defendants).

In addition to her specialism in environmental work, Lyn advises on regulatory and compliance matters more generally, including health and safety prosecutions; coroners’ inquests; trading standards investigations (for example, product safety/food safety); and competition law.  She also undertakes training for directors and senior managers on environmental compliance and directors’ duties.  Along with environmental consultants, EMS, she has devised a training course on environmental management for directors, which is endorsed by the ILM.

Lyn has written for the Trade Press on a number of issues, including Safety and Health Practitioner.

Career

Lyn joined Tyr in 2020 to establish the Environmental and Regulatory team. She trained and qualified at Nabarro LLP (now CMS) in London and Sheffield, prior to spending 8 years at Shulmans LLP, where she became a partner.
