Position

As a partner in Boyes Turner’s personal injury team, Claire acts for clients with life-changing injuries, such as brain and spinal injury, amputation, severe burns, complex orthopaedic/musculoskeletal injury, chronic pain and PTSD.

Claire’s experience with seriously injured clients has given invaluable insight into the power of early inter-disciplinary rehabilitation to restore mobility, independence, assisting with supported return to work and participation in family and social activity, giving a sense of purpose and self-worth which helps maximise recovery after life-changing injury.

Claire and the PI team are on the legal panel for The Katie Piper Foundation and the Cardinal Major Trauma Signposting Service at John Radcliffe Major Trauma Centre, where commitment to the rehabilitation of burns and major trauma survivor is of the upmost importance.

Career

Claire qualified at Listers in 1997. Claire moved to head up the PI team at David Yablon, then moved to Colemans-ctts where she set up and headed the Serious Personal Injury team and made partner.

She has been a trustee for Headway South West London and Cycle Smart Foundation. She is a Co-founder and director of the Major Trauma Group, a collaboration of law firms and clinicians providing a national service committed to assisting major trauma victims to achieve the best outcome on their rehabilitation and recovery journey, as well as ensuring their financial security in the future.
