Career

Małgorzata is a specialist with over 10 years of professional experience in the areas of intellectual property protection, personal rights and consumer rights. Advises entrepreneurs operating in new technologies, IT, e-commerce, game-dev, as well as the chemical or automotive industry.

She supports clients in the informed management of intellectual property – from the process of creation and obtaining protection to commercialisation and prosecution of infringements. She advises on preparing IP rights management strategies and obtaining exclusive rights at patent offices around the world. She also represents clients in litigation concerning the prosecution of IP infringements and acts of unfair competition.

Her experience includes comprehensive advice on brand protection, including conducting trademark registration and opposition proceedings. She also provides assistance in the enforcement of exclusive trademark rights, her client portfolio includes the e-commerce market leaders in Central and Eastern Europe or a global leader in online appointment booking services.

Małgorzata prepares and negotiates agreements transferring and licensing copyrights, trademark and patent rights. She assists in the acquisition of copyrights in international development teams and in transactions transferring key IP rights in Venture Capital investment projects. She also advises entrepreneurs in their ongoing e-commerce and marketing activities.

Małgorzata supports clients in the area of new technologies, with a particular focus on issues concerning artificial intelligence (AI) or the use of components under open-source licences. Together with her team, she supported a client in one of the first litigations in Poland concerning royalties in connection with the use of components under open-source licences.
