Career

Rachael has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial property transactions including investment sales and purchases, development site acquisitions, promotion agreements, land options and overage, funding, business leases and the property aspects of company sales and purchases. Her clients include private investment companies, developers, occupiers, high-net-worth individuals and banks.  Rachael has a particular interest advising land owners and developers looking to acquire or dispose of potential development land or to diversify the use of their land.

Rachael trained at Browne Jacobson in Nottingham qualifying in 1999 to become an Assistant Solicitor.  In 2001 she moved to Freshfields as an Associate until 2004.  She was an Associate at Field Fisher Waterhouse through until 2006 and then a Partner at Finers Stephens Innocent (merged with and became Howard Kennedy) until 2015 when she joined Longmores as a Partner.

Rachael’s experience includes the following types of matters:

  • Advising landowning clients in relation to promotion agreements
  • Option agreements
  • Advising on the acquisition of land for development
  • Advising on the sales of land subject to overage
