Bertrand’s international practice focuses on equity and equity-linked capital markets transactions and he has worked on numerous IPOs and other public offerings by French issuers. He has advised on most of the major capital markets transactions handled in Paris in recent years. He has also handled several sovereign bonds, yankee bonds and high-yield transactions by Francophone issuers.

Bertrand brings his long experience in disclosure to prospectus drafting, but also to Transparency/Market Abuse issues arising after the IPO. He regularly advises listed companies, in particular biotechnology companies, on these issues, as well as corporate law and corporate governance ones.

Bertrand studied political science at the Paris Institute of Political Studies and law at the Paris II-Panthéon-Assas University and at the New York University School of Law.
