Partner

Patrice leads the firm’s Paris office structured finance group. He advises investment banks, private equity and debts funds, fintech companies and asset managers on structured finance deals, covered bonds and securitisations. These deals include Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Asset-Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP), project bonds, and whole business and synthetic securitisations. More recently, Patrice has advised on portfolio sales.

Patrice also has in-depth knowledge of European regulation applying to securitisation deals.

Career

Patrice was named partner in 2004 after working 10 years as a finance lawyer in Paris, Budapest and London in a leading French law firm. He joined Linklaters Paris in 2011 to lead the structured finance and securitisation practice. He is also the lead relationship partner worldwide within the firm for the entities of the Crédit Agricole SA’s group.

Education

Patrice graduated in business and tax law at Lyon III University in Lyon, France and Burgundy University in Dijon, France.

He also holds a master degree in Economy and Finance from Sciences-Po Paris, France and a L.L.M from Christian Albrecht University in Kiel, Germany.
