Gustav Sälgström’s work is mainly within the area of regulatory issues, especially in the field of securities and fund operations as well as AML. Gustav has been active within the above-mentioned field since 2008 and has advised both fund and asset management companies on various legal matters and on their contacts with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Sw. Finansinspektionen).

In his daily work, Gustav provides advice in a variety of matters relating to authorizations with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and in various implementation projects as well as corporate and contract law matters. He has participated in a number of projects implementing new legislation, such as MiFID 2, AIFMD, and AMLD 4.

Gustav has maintained the position as compliance officer at numerous companies in the aforementioned categories, including fund managers investing in real estate. His work experience also includes advising banks and borrowers in connection with financing.
