Position

Nikola is a Senior Attorney working on the top-level real estate and corporate projects. He joined MS Partners in March 2011, as an associate, and has been with the firm his entire career.

Nikola is experienced in reviewing and advising clients in different matters of spatial planning from the legal perspective, land re-purposing, concessions, rights of construction, PPP projects, and other questions regarding the development of hotels, luxury villas, camping and other types of establishments, and these matters represent the core of his expertise. During his tenure with MS Partners he has been involved in some of projects which represent the biggest investments in the history of Republic of Croatia. He grasps the distinctive demands of the HTL sector, where customer satisfaction takes center stage in all projects.

Nikola is also deeply involved in the digital asset legal market, advising clients across industries on matters related to cryptocurrency and blockchain, including securities and commodities laws.

He participated as a part of the team together with attorneys Andrej Šooš Maceljski and Ivana Miloš on a number of regulatory and finance issues.  In 2012/2013, Nikola served as a member of one of the councils of the Croatian Supreme court as a law trainees’ representative from the Croatian Bar Association.

In 2017 Nikola became an authorized tax specialist and as such is authorized to provide advice on a variety of tax issues, including taxation issues, VAT, income tax and profit tax.
