Ms Sara Nehme is a Junior Associate in Sharq Law Firm’s Litigation team. She supports the firm’s legal work across complex commercial, construction, and employment disputes, contributing to case preparation, client coordination, and procedural compliance.

Sara has gained hands-on experience in both litigation and arbitration, including matters under QICCA and DIAC rules. She has worked closely with senior counsel on high-value disputes and has undertaken secondments with leading Qatari institutions, where she served as a liaison between in-house teams and external legal advisors. Her responsibilities have included reviewing and drafting contracts, preparing legal memoranda, managing case schedules, and assisting with settlement documentation. She has also attended court sessions, expert meetings, and police stations to support litigation strategy, and played a role in developing internal legal management systems to streamline ongoing casework.

Selected Experience:

• Assisted on disputes ranging from QAR 30 million to QAR 3 billion, including construction, employment, and financial claims.
• Supported counsel in a DIAC arbitration seated in Cyprus involving a multi-party commercial consulting dispute.
• Seconded to a government-owned entity, where she coordinated legal documentation, internal reporting, and interdepartmental meetings.
• Contributed to the drafting of settlement agreements and legal submissions in pre-litigation matters.
• Supported arbitration proceedings concerning large-scale residential developments in Doha.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Lebanese University. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
