Hanifah Yakubu is an Associate in Sharq Law Firm’s Corporate and Commercial team, advising clients on corporate structuring, transactions, and regulatory compliance in Qatar.

Her practice spans company formation, commercial licensing, employment advisory, and corporate governance issues, particularly in relation to entities operating within or alongside the Qatar Financial Centre. Hanifah has worked with both local and international clients across transport, aviation, investment, and consumer-facing sectors, assisting with due diligence, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance.

Selected Experience:

• Conducted legal due diligence for a sovereign investment body in relation to the cross-border merger of a public shareholding and a private company.
• Drafted and negotiated commercial agreements, including distribution, supply, and franchise contracts, for multinationals in regulated sectors.
• Advised on employment and compliance matters for major transport and aviation clients in Qatar.
• Supported the establishment and restructuring of entities under the Qatar Financial Centre regime.
• Assisted in advising on intellectual property matters, including licensing and the protection of proprietary rights.

Hanifah holds an LLB from Nottingham Trent University and continues to build a versatile corporate advisory practice serving both local and international clients.
