Career

Abdulla Al Bin Ali is an Associate in Sharq Law Firm’s Corporate and Commercial team. He advises clients on company structuring, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters, with additional experience supporting high-value arbitration and commercial disputes across multiple jurisdictions.

His practice includes advising on legal due diligence, company formation, and restructuring, particularly in the context of family-owned and QFC-registered entities. Abdulla has experience drafting a wide range of commercial contracts, including manufacturing, supply, lease, and subcontracting agreements. He regularly advises on regulatory filings, board resolutions, and amendments to constitutional documents under the Companies Law and the QFC framework. Abdulla also assists corporate clients on employment-related matters, including employee disputes and compliance with local labour law.

He has supported litigation strategy in shareholder and contractual disputes before the Qatari courts, and has been involved in multi-forum arbitration proceedings under QICCA, DIAC, and ICC rules.

• Assisted in the sale of 100% of the shares of a private Qatari company.
• Advised on the restructuring of a family-owned business following the death of its majority shareholder.
• Conducted legal due diligence for a leading commercial aviation services provider in Qatar.
• Supporting counsel in a QICCA arbitration valued at approximately QAR 300 million.
• Assisting in DIAC and ICC arbitrations involving offshore and international contractors, with combined claims exceeding QAR 400 million.

Abdulla holds an LLB from SOAS, University of London, and is fluent in English and Arabic.
