(Leading partners)The practice at Irwin Mitchell ‘is extremely responsive, approachable and technically astute’. With Alex Ruffel at the helm, its primary experience is in international private client work. It acts for family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. In addition, it has developed its charity and philanthropy practice through the recruitment of Matthew Briggs from The Burnside Partnership in June 2023. The group is also continuing to grow its Sharia practice which is led by Yousafa Hazara. It is well-placed to handle an array of complex cross-border tax matters and cross-border estates.
