Position
I am a Partner specialising in Medical Negligence. I predominantly focus on obstetric cases resulting in brain injuries arising from asphyxia or hypoglycaemia. My work also covers a range of other areas including paediatric brain injury, Erb’s palsy, wrongful birth, maternal injuries and spinal injury.
I have been Head of the London Medical Negligence department since January 2021.
I sit on the Medical Negligence Executive Board as well as IM’s Risk Forum and Technical Strategy Group.
Career
Articled Alexander Harris; qualified 1999; partner 2002. Alexander Harris merged with Irwin Mitchell in 2006.
Highlights include Northwick Park Drug Trial cases, £35m recovered for a child injured at birth, trial and litigation experience and developing a hugely talented team of specialist lawyers.
