Career
Taras has a solid background in advising Ukrainian and international clients on a wide range of sophisticated cross-border transactions, litigations and various consultancy. Corporate and mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and competition, intellectual property, and information technologies are his key areas of practice.
Taras is a Partner, and he has co-managed the Ukrainian PETERKA & PARTNERS office as Deputy Director since 2016. In 2018, Taras was appointed Partner and Director for Ukraine. He is the Leader of the Law of Information Technologies practice in PETERKA & PARTNERS. He is also the Leader of the Ukrainian Desk at the firm.
Among legal projects which Taras has managed it is worth to mention legal support to leading European business (e.g. Mammoet, Polpharma, TCCM, Pearl, and Mekoprint) during the establishment of their subsidiaries in Ukraine and the follow-up advisory services for them; obtaining permits for concentration for Theeuwes Holding and Euralis Semences Holding. Prior to joining the firm, Taras worked for two of the Top-5 Ukrainian law firms.
