Position
He has been a partner of Zunarelli – Studio Legale Associato since 1995 and has been its national Managing Partner since 2013.
He has extensive experience in maritime and transport law, international trade law, corporate, administrative and customs law. He advises port authorities, port enterprises, terminal operators, airport management companies and airports. He also advises and represents major insurance companies (in all complex insurance areas), ship-owners, carriers, port operators, freight-forwarders and logistics companies, as well as public institutions and public controlled companies. He is qualified to represent Clients before the Italian Supreme Court.
Career
Massimo Campailla has been a Partner of the Bologna Office since 1995 and of the Trieste office since its foundation. He has been professor of Shipping and Transport Law at the University of Trieste since March 2023. He was previously associate professor at the Law Department of the University of Ferrara, where he taught logistics and transport law (seat of Ferrara) and European transport law (seat of Rovigo), and before that he was associate professor of transport law at the Faculty of Economics of G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti – Pescara. He holds master degree courses and is speaker at congresses in his areas of practice. Publications: several articles and a monograph.
