Career
Oktay Şener graduated from Istanbul University in 2002. Having started his career as a trainee lawyer in 2003, Şener worked as a lawyer and team leader in the Legal Affairs Department and Foreign Litigation Group of TMSF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund) between 2005 and 2011.
Here he focused on Banking Law, and International Litigation and Arbitration. In addition to his active duty that he undertook in the 2nd Claim Sales Project conducted by TMSF, he conducted the coordination of various international proceedings and litigations including the ICSID arbitration cases in which the Republic of Turkey was involved.
Having joined Aksan Law Firm in October 2011, Şener works as a partner lawyer in Privatisation, Energy Law and litigations and proceedings with an element of foreignness in addition to Due Diligence projects.
