Widely recognised as one of the leading specialists in Economic Criminal Law and Compliance in Portugal. With more than 30 years’ experience, Paulo’s career includes leading prestigious legal teams, intervening in highly complex cases and having a consolidated strategic vision in providing preventive advice and monitoring sensitive cases involving natural and legal persons. His work includes advising on matters related to the criminal liability of directors and corporate officers, economic and financial crimes, as well as the implementation of compliance programs in large organizations. Paulo de Sá e Cunha is also a reference in the training of new generations of lawyers, actively contributing to the development of legal practice in Portugal. Paulo is currently President of the Superior Council of the Portuguese Bar Association.
